Flights. Aena’s October 2026 listings include direct Málaga routes to Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius with airBaltic, alongside services to Nordic, Dutch, Belgian, Irish and British destinations (Aena (opens in a new tab)). Gibraltar Airport’s October timetable lists Heathrow with British Airways and Gatwick, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham with easyJet (Gibraltar Airport (opens in a new tab)). Check operating dates with the airline.

The Gibraltar border. UK government guidance checked in October 2026 states that Gibraltar’s short-stay entry conditions aligned with Schengen requirements from 15 July 2026: arriving passengers undergo Gibraltar and Schengen entry checks at the airport before moving freely across the land border. For British short-stay visitors covered by this guidance, time in Gibraltar counts towards the shared 90 days in any 180-day period (GOV.UK (opens in a new tab)).

By bus. Avanza’s L-77 serves Manilva and Sabinillas towards Estepona, with selected departures continuing to Marbella and Hospital Costa del Sol, and the M-240 links Sabinillas and Puerto de la Duquesa with Estepona and La Línea (L-77 (opens in a new tab); M-240 (opens in a new tab)). For Málaga airport, check the operator’s journey planner for your date and departure stop, including any change at Estepona.

By train. For rail journeys along the Málaga coast, the C1 line runs from Fuengirola to Málaga airport and Málaga; for other destinations, compare services from San Roque-La Línea and Algeciras when planning your trip.
